And it will not function on Linux, they encrypt or otherwise make raw data unavailable unless you pay a hefty monthly fee. I am returning this device unless someone wants to buy it from me. Beware though, I only works on Win or Mac. At 99 dollars a month. And you’ll need internet.
They claim to have IP’s for giving us raw data.. that seems a little impossible. Any and all manipulation or interpretation of the sensor readings would no longer yield raw data.
Also, the software terms clearly State you won’t own your recorded data and sign it over to them.
The “help” I’ve been getting is not helpful. I’ve put all my savings into one of these devices, as a student it is a huge amount.
Now I’ve lost all my shipping costs, well over 150 dollars, import taxes, and have to pay for more shipping back to Vietnam. And than a restocking fee has to be paid.
Stay far away from this people. Unless you really want an 800 dollar mouse replacement (well sort of)
Look into OpenBCI instead.
