If you want to use cortex API then you will need to download the cortexUI app from their website. Go to this URL. . I am using it on the windows machine. If you start CortexUI app you will see GUI asking for connecting to the Emotive headset. If not then Go to services and restart emotive service named as “EmotivCortexService”. Without starting this service you won’t be able to connect to there socket services.
